Medication Assisted Treatment
Recovery from opiate addiction has unique challenges that many treatment programs are not qualified to address. Mission Treatment specializes in treating opiate dependency, helping thousands of people finally achieve the abstinence they have tried so hard for. If opiate dependent people could quit on their own, they would. We at Mission Treatment are here to support you with the counseling and medication necessary to reclaim your life.
Suboxone: Suboxone is a medication used to block painful withdrawal symptoms and cravings that lead to relapse. If you qualify, you may receive from a week, up to a month’s worth, of this medication. This will decrease the number of trips you need to make to the clinic.
Methadone: Methadone is a full agonist medication that has been safely and effectively treating opiate dependent patients since the 1960’s. Methadone blocks painful withdrawals and eliminates cravings, allowing patients to participate in a program of recovery.
Counseling: No medication is intended to successfully treat addiction without counseling. Mission Treatment provides counseling to help patients recover from all of the negative consequences caused by addiction. Addiction can rob people of their livelihood, family, career, education, friends, and social norms. Our experienced professionals are trained specifically to address the unique needs of the opiate dependent patient, assisting them in living a full and abundant life free from illicit drugs.
