Job Description

Mission Treatment is a certified, CARF accredited substance abuse clinic that specializes in narcotic addiction with nine locations throughout the mid and western United States.

We are seeking an AOD counselor, who meets California Department of Alcohol and Drug Programs certification requirements at our Escondido location for a full-time, early morning shift, Monday through Friday from 5:30am to 2:00pm.


An AOD counselor candidate must be a fully certified or licensed with CCAPP or CADTP per California DHCS regulations.
Preference will be given to AOD counselors who have experience with medication assisted treatment modalities.

An AOD counselorhas the overall responsibility for counseling and management of assigned patients.
An AOD counselor provides individual, group, and/or family counseling and completes comprehensive assessments, interpretive summary and individualized treatment plans.
An AOD counselor maintains the client record and adheres to all State, Federal, Accreditation and Program regulations and performs duties as assigned by the Counseling Supervisor or Clinic Director.
