Ivan Klassen served over 14 years at the Los Angeles Mission in various leadership roles including Executive Director of the Los Angeles Mission Foundation, Director of Community Partnerships and Special Assistant to the President since 2007. During his more than 14-year tenure, Klassen oversaw and managed relationship building, public relations, Major Donor fund development, special event planning and execution, along with volunteer and In-Kind donations and opportunities for the Los Angeles Mission.
Ivan previously worked as Director of Youth Ministries at two southern California Presbyterian Churches and received a Master of Divinity degree from Azusa Pacific University’s Haggard School of Theology. He has also served as the Executive Director of LifeWaterLife Global Relief where he provided strategic leadership for effective implementation of LWL’s Global Relief’s mission and goals.
Ivan was also the Executive Director of the Red Songbird Foundation in an interim position. The Red Songbird Foundation helps those dealing with addiction and mental health issues.
